Why founders in India work with us

Advisers qualified in India, practising in the UAE

Our people hold Indian professional qualifications, Chartered Accountancy and law among them, alongside UAE practice. It matters because the UAE answer usually depends on an Indian question: how the structure sits with your residency, your remittances and what you still owe at home. You are not explaining India to someone who has only ever worked here.

One firm, not a handover

The people who form the company also run the accounting, the tax filings and the residency work afterwards. Nothing is passed to a third party you have never spoken to.

A real all-in number

Advertised free zone prices routinely leave out the establishment card (the permit that lets your company sponsor visas), the visa itself, and the desk the zone makes you rent. We quote what you will actually pay, with government and zone fees shown at cost.

We will tell you not to

A UAE company only works if the substance behind it is real. Where a structure would not survive scrutiny at home, we say so before you spend anything, not after.

What your first year will cost

Pick the setup you have in mind. Free zone means 100 percent ownership, trading internationally or inside the zone. Mainland lets you sell directly to customers across the UAE. Then add the visas and the desk you will actually need: most free zones make you rent at least a flexi-desk (a small shared desk inside the zone), which advertised prices leave out, so a no office total is not a realistic first year. Offshore prices lowest because it carries no visa and no UAE residency. Year two renewal and the cost to close later are shown separately.

Questions we get asked

Can I own a Dubai company from India without moving?

Yes. A UAE free zone company can be owned outright by a non resident, and forming one does not require you to relocate. Moving matters for a separate reason: ownership and tax residency are different questions, and the second one turns on days and substance rather than on the licence.

How does the India-UAE DTAA actually work?

The treaty decides which country taxes what, so the same income is not taxed twice. Access to it turns on a Tax Residency Certificate from the UAE Federal Tax Authority, which evidences the UAE side of the position. India applies its own residency rules to you personally, and asks separately where your company is really controlled from (its place of effective management test). The two run in parallel. We prepare the UAE side and the evidence behind it, so your adviser in India is working from something solid.

How many days do I need to spend in the UAE?

For a certificate used under a treaty, 183 days across a 12 month period is the usual bar for an individual. A shorter 90 day route exists under UAE domestic rules for residence permit holders with a home or a business here, but it produces a certificate for domestic purposes, which is not the same document. Alongside the days, the position is expected to be real: premises the activity runs from, an account used from here, and the decisions that run the company taken here.

What does it actually cost?

A free zone licence with one or two residence visas and the flexi-desk most zones require lands between AED 31,500 and AED 57,000 for the first year, which is what the calculator above shows for that setup. Advertised prices below that are zero visa promotions that leave out the establishment card and the desk. The calculator also prices year two renewal and the cost to close later, and we then confirm your exact number for your activity and visa count, with government and zone fees shown at cost.

Will I be able to open a UAE bank account?

Often, but no adviser can promise it. Banks make their own decision and have tightened considerably. What we control is the quality of the file: clear source of funds, a coherent business rationale, and documentation prepared to the standard the compliance team expects. We tell you honestly where a profile is likely to struggle.

How do you work with my CA in India?

Directly, and it is usually the easiest part of the job. Indian residents holding foreign entities and remitting funds have obligations at home, and your CA already knows your position there. We hand them the UAE facts in a form they can use rather than asking you to relay them. Several of our advisers hold Indian qualifications, Chartered Accountancy and law among them, so the conversation starts from shared ground.

How long does formation take?

A straightforward free zone company is typically a matter of days once documents are complete, with residence visas following. Mainland setups and regulated activities take longer. The usual cause of delay is incomplete documentation rather than the authority.

Do you handle the accounting afterwards, or just the setup?

Both, and that is deliberate. Corporate tax registration, bookkeeping, VAT where it applies and the annual residency certificate are what keep the structure defensible. Firms that only sell the licence leave you to find all of that separately, usually at the point where a deadline has already been missed.
